Meet the CEO

I have always been passionate about both teaching and learning, driven by the belief that education has the power to transform lives. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of brilliant students and their families in the K-12 education sector, and each experience has deepened my commitment to helping others unlock their full potential. My journey began in the classroom, where I taught a wide range of subjects, engaging with diverse learners and witnessing firsthand the unique challenges and rewards that come with educating young minds.
As my career evolved, I transitioned into collegiate teaching, expanding my expertise into higher education. I spent nearly 11 years serving as an adjunct professor, lecturer, and administrator at both community colleges and universities. During this time, I gained a deeper understanding of the complex dynamics that shape the collegiate experience, from curriculum development and instructional design to student retention and institutional policy. Working at the higher education level allowed me to mentor students in new ways, guiding them through both academic challenges and the broader personal growth that comes with pursuing a college degree.
Throughout my career, I became increasingly aware of the myriad issues that hinder progress in educational systems, not only at the K-12 level but also within higher education institutions. These challenges span across student achievement gaps, systemic barriers, limited resources, and the evolving needs of both educators and learners. It became clear to me that the education system, at all levels, required innovative strategies to address these obstacles and help schools, districts, and colleges reach their full potential.
Inspired by this realization, I founded PECS (Professional Education Consulting Services) with the goal of ushering in meaningful change. Through PECS, I have worked closely with educational entities to assess their unique challenges, develop tailored solutions, and implement strategies that foster growth, inclusivity, and academic excellence. My vision for PECS is to empower educational leaders, teachers, and institutions to transform their environments and enhance the educational experience for all students, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and resources necessary to thrive in an increasingly complex world.
Ultimately, my passion for teaching and learning continues to guide every aspect of my work, whether in the classroom, in administrative roles, or as a consultant. I am committed to supporting the ongoing evolution of education and helping students, educators, and institutions achieve their fullest potential.
